FALL RIVER – The Narrows Center for the Arts continues to bring quality music and arts to the SouthCoast, hosting a one-of-a-kind gallery show and a variety of concerts in May, from nationally acclaimed acts to local favorites, there’s something for everyone.

Friday, May 6th – Jonathan Edwards
Warm as the summer sun, real as the truth, intimate as a long overdue visit between old friends… such is a concert by Jonathan Edwards. Four decades after a distinguished career of uncompromising musical integrity, the man simply delivers night after night – songs of passion, songs of insight, songs of humor, all rendered in that pure and powerful tenor voice that, like fine wine, has only become sweeter with the Age.
Thursday, May 7th – The Jon Butcher Axis
Grammy-nominated guitarist Jon Butcher is among a select handful of influential recording artists to emerge from the legendary Boston music scene. MTV videos, hits and riotous live performances lay the foundation of a rich music career that continues to this day.
Wednesday, May 11 – Matt Andersen
Matt Andersen has traveled countless miles behind tiny white lines on the freeway, crossed vast oceans and forever changed audiences around the world through his powerful, soulless songwriting. For his latest full-length, the laid-back house to house, Andersen brings it all home with the sweet chemistry that just a voice and guitar can conjure up.

Friday, May 20 – Quinn Sullivan

He has been touring the world since he was 11, playing legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl and RFK Stadium in Washington DC, as well as the Mahindra Blues in India Festival, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival and three Montreux Jazz Festivals. This Massachusetts native has taken the rich skills of his youth and is now thriving them as a young adult, taking him in new artistic and creative directions.
