Viz also appears to be dropping the weekly chapters and will leave it to MangaPlus. Viz does not have a countdown to the next chapter and contains this message.

Yabuki will have more freedom to do what he wants in Jump+, so the manga is expected to be even riskier. Although MangaPlus has skipped chapters in the past, I fear this will happen more often from now on.

Finally VIZ loose, hooray! Now M+ doesn’t have to skip chapters anymore either.

Possibly, but at least we now have official news from Seven Seas that they will be releasing the manga uncensored starting in November. At this point I’ll just wait for that version to come out.

Honestly, this manga was never a good fit for WSJ (and Viz for that matter) and I’m glad it’s moving to more suitable platforms

It’s the best, the censorship requirements aren’t nearly as bad on Shounen Jump+.

2020 was just a weird year for the WSJ. The cancellation of Act-Age, the end of heavyweight series like Haikyu, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer and Promised Neverland, and so many of the manga that premiered that year finally got English Wikipedia pages (except Our Blood Oath).

I just wonder why Ayakashi Triangle even got published in WSJ when Yabuki could have gone for web publication or Jump SQ all along. Was it for nostalgic reasons for both parties? I guess we’ll never know.

I’m wondering if this means no more chapters being dropped on Manga Plus, or if it means even more due to fewer restrictions

Well I hope these moves serve the manga well.

looks like yabuki while trying to get a weekly shonen jump series like black cat ended up with another over the top nudity ecchi To Love Ru. I feel like when this anime comes out it may crash and burn as To Love Ru has had a big share of the figure market for a long time and it literally gave up on this series and never got a proper anime ending which will tick off fans

Yes, and the sky will turn pink with yellow polka dots.

He wanted to continue the Darling in the Franxx manga despite the massive backlash and drastic slump in exposure and popularity. You can’t automatically assume that Ayakashi will grow as big as To Love Ru. It can’t be easy.
