Summer Camps Near You: Red Bank Area summer camps are waiting for you

RED BANK, NJ — Anyone summer camp? Games, crafts, outdoor hikes, and snacking with friends are all part of the fun around Red Bank.

Now is the time to start making summer camp plans as they fill up fast. There are some good camp options for kids around Monmouth County. Here are a few.

That Borough of Red Bank Parks and Recreation has planned summer camp 2022. Registration opened to residents of the district in April and to non-residents on May 2. Camp programs include Little Rascals for 3-5 year olds and Rascals for 6-12 year olds.

Little Rascals meets for five weeks, July 11-August 12 from 9am-12pm at the Fine & Performing Arts Center at 51 Monmouth St. The Rascals’ all-outdoor camp meets July 11-19 August at Count Basie Park. 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Find out more here. School of Rock at Red Bank is inviting kids and teens to rock out at several music-filled summer camps this year by learning to play instruments through popular rock songs. Camps this season include Rock 101, Beatles Camp, 21st Century Modern Rock, Green Day Camp, Pop Legends Camp and Song Writing Camp. There’s even a rookies camp for 5-7 year olds. Rolling Hills Country Day Camp in Freehold offers day camp programs for children from Pre-K through tenth grade. Campers can enjoy swimming, sports, crafts and adventure activities. More information can be found here.

Ivy League day camp in Manalapan is a private summer camp for children aged 2 to 15 years. Activities include sports, arts, water sports and adventure activities. More information can be found here.

Jersey Shore Skim Camp at Sea Bright offers daily skimboarding camp and private lessons for serious beginners and intermediate skiers. It is for children aged 8+ who have already stood on a board and want to learn the right skills and techniques. Check it out here

Highway Day Camp in Manalapan offers activity programs for pre-K through tenth grade. Teens can enjoy swimming lessons, waterslides, crafts, and special events, while teens can join clubs (including sushi, Italian, and food truck clubs) or hone their skills in sports, art, and swimming. Tour participants can experience more than a dozen day and overnight trips to attractions such as Dorney Park and Great Wolf Lodge. More information can be found here.

Marlboro Montessori Academy Day Camp in Morganville invites children ages 2 to 8 to participate in an aquatic program designed to improve sensory development and encourage coordination and motor skills. Head over heels gymnasticsDance and Celebration Center of Middletown is offering a Summer Fun and Fitness Day Program June 27 through August. Weekly themes for the Nine Weeks of Summer offer a variety of excitement for kids ages 5 and up, with full and half-day options and an extended day camp running from 7:45am to 6:00pm. A river school in Middletown is a private art school that offers quality art and design summer camps for older children and teens. The camps cover topics such as comic book making, street art painting, manga characters and much more.
